even though its very early work from the Kartiki Kadam who eventually went to command amazingly animated storylines , and got her own Render Farm one day in the near future, this is near.... flawless.
I am still shit scared of Maya. Say the word 'Maya' in front of me and I will say 'Where???? Where????'
oh, so this is in 3D.
I could never fathom the complexities behind creating anything 3Dish on a PC. I could be wrong, but I think its to much of an effort to actually sit in front of a new generation idiotbox only to create art works. I am sure u'd agree when i say traditional mediums are so much more satisfying to the heart and mind.
@lastsong: render farm.. hmm.. you like the word, no?
@jared: i would say i like both, but naturally favour the traditional a little more, coz it comes out of your hands, your immediate thoughts, your sweat and blood.. ok, not sweat and blood. whereas, you lose a little bit of the flow in 3d. but at the end of the day, there is nothing more satisfying than seeing the final outcome (which is rarely the case with me) be it in a 3d software or traditional.
yeah I know that feeling.
It'd be like the guys from october sky.
And I'd like to believe that 'final outcome' syndrome affects the more creative mortals. ;)
