I know its such an original name for a post.. but god!what a fulfilling day. went to fio's school to take an 'art workshop.' bit my fingers till the very end before entering the school and all fio said was.. arre they are so chotu! dont be nervous. when i entered the school, i met the most brill boy, vikram.. he was a shy 4 year old boy, who wasnt a part of the class i was going to teach. so, before i left him for his class, he made me promise that i would return there soon to teach his class too!! so many wonderful moments and this is just the beginning. some pictures of the two classes.

woah, these kids are the chotuest. who gave the color to their uniforms?! its so psychedelic! whew, and i had stupid grey pants and white shirt. the stick figure animation thingie on the blackboard is death-defyingly cute - and it shows motion in such a simple, perfect way. you are so meant to teach them every week. dont make it once every month, they will miss you.

oh i would return there, for the hi-fi's at the end of the day that make you feel like a superstar! these kids would also start a rock band some day, come teach music :)
the feeling of being treated like that is a thrill. and they are gonna flipbooks, so i think the fan following win increase the more you go. if even some of them turn out to be an animator (i think they will) because of you, that feeling will be incomparable.
oh, you got rock band covered before you can say blueberry pie. if one of them even feigns an interest towards drumming or percussion, I am teaching them notes and time signatures. they will have a lot, lot of music to listen to as they practice - they can choose to criticize what i listen to, as long it has its reasoning. wait a minute. these are kids.
oh, a completely made alt-rock band from these kids would be so cool. kuku would be on vox, then a kid on bass (preferably a girl, girls look cool on bass), a skinny drummer, and one on leads. you can design album covers. of course, they will design everything themselves after a while.

little student unions on training there or just a bunch of little communists ? When i saw the fotograph, at first i thought you must be a teacher and a good one mind you :) ! But then i happened to read the summary.
So.. art attack, though not original enough (there's an art magazine or some art contest with tht name), seems apt for this entry !
Am sure the kids had a great time learning from you. Did u show them the fly cycle ? Am sure they had their mouths open,drooling and a few probly even ended up crying... asking for more. I know i wuddav; had i been amongst them and probably even led a revolution against such blasphemy (showing off such a short but wonderful piece of art) !
